Armed men stormed a teenager’s birthday party in Ciudad Juárez and opened fire on the guests killing 14 and wounding another 19…

There were four minors among the dead and some of those wounded were a nine-year-old boy and two pregnant women… The ages of those killed ranged from 13 to 30, and of the wounded from nine to 20 years old.

The attack, which occurred in the Horizontes del Sur district, was similar to an attack on January 30 when an armed commando killed 15 people, most of them youths, at a party in Villas de Salvárcar housing unit...

The Chihuahua state prosecutor’s office said early investigations indicated that that the attack’s target was a man who goes by the nickname El Ratón, or “The Mouse,” who apparently was wounded and managed to escape…

Three innocent civilians were killed in Coahuila, during a shootout early Saturday in Saltillo, between army and state and federal police agents and a group of hired gunmen… The Interior Secretariat said it regretted the murder of a family in Saltillo and would follow the results of investigations…

Army troops and armed men engaged in a shootout in the San Luis Potosí historical center… Authorities arrested about 10 suspects… And unofficial reports said at least three people were killed in the shootout…
